Adidas Forum 25th Anniversary

Next month, Adidas is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Forum. Two and a half decades ago, the Adidas Forum was at the top of the pack setting the standard for tech specific basketball shoes. The ankle and heel support of the shoes were the answer that many ballers had been needing for years. After its initial release, break dancers were quite fond of the low top version of the shoe. Exemplified pivot point and strap to keep the kicks on made these a staple for any b-boy’s closet.

In April, the three-stripes gives back to four shops that have been down with Adidas for the last 25 years, by giving each store their chance to design a Forum that reps their city’s style. Harput’s in San Francisco, Walters in Atlanta, Moe’s in Queens, and Puffer Reds in Detroit will each release their special make up that are limited to just 500 pairs globally.
