KAWS x Nike Air Max 90 Premium [Sample]

Fresh off his 1World Nike AF1 sneaker, KAWS is now creating another collaboration with Nike, the KAWS x Nike Air Max 90 Premium. Pictured above is the sample pair which features “XX” neon stitching along the the toe-box, on an upper made of leather, mesh, and suede. The sneaker also features a special “XX” lace lock and neon/white laces. Currently, there’s no information on a release date but stay tuned for more updates. Nike [Joker] Air Force One Custom Sneaker

The Dark Knight may have released months ago, but that didn’t stop Mache from whipping up these unbelievable custom sneakers based on “The Joker”.  Mache used a simple but effective “One Night Only” AF1 color blocking system, with him coloring the toe purple pinstriped to resemble moving fabric like the Joker’s pants in the movie and leaving the rest of the upper (besides the artwork) off-white. The sneaker features a wonderful picture of Heath Ledger portrayal of the Joker along the right shoe, with the quote “Why so serious?”, and the “Joker’s Card” (which is exactly like the one in the movie) with ‘Here’s My Card” spelled out on the heel of the left shoe. The tags, lace locks and heel tabs are all painted in the same green hue like the Joker’s hair. See more pictures after the jump.

DeepCover De Lux Custom Sneaker

Jason Lee of DeepCover Clothing wanted us to present this exclusive custom sneaker pictured above which he named “DeepCover De Lux”. Jason hand painted eight pairs of customs with this design, ranging from size 8 through 11. The sneakers feature some nice white, blue, and yellow designs around the toe and along the laceholes, snakeskin fabric placed on the Nike swoosh, and plaid fabric on the back heel. Jason finished them off with a special DeepCover lace patch and a purple DeepCover label sewn on to the tongue. Currently, the eight pairs of customs are now available at Cloth & Canvas in Las Vegas, but you can also contact Jason directly for more details. Retail $200.

SoleHeaven x SneakArt Custom Sneakers

Soleheaven and Sneakart recently collaborated on two pairs of custom sneakers which features Sneakart’s  revolutionary method of customizing shoes. Sneakart’s customizing technique consists of applying adhesive stickers (PVC free), baptized “sneakskin”, to the overall area of the shoes to create designs. This is great for people who always wanted to customize sneakers but lacked painting skills. In the creation of these customs, Sneakart took a Nike Vandal - Sheath and a soild white Onitsuka Tiger and applied some sneakskin (adhesive stickers) which resembles magazine clippings along the the side panels and toe. Nike [Iron Petal] Dunk Hi Custom Sneaker

Take a look at these creative custom sneakers ILLEGO created for a friend that recently lost their grandmother which he’s calling, the Nike “Iron Petal” Dunk Hi. This custom sneaker presents an interesting combination of colors and materials which include a metallic concord croc back heel, a military lace cover sporting the same croc material with orange zippers and silver eyelets, and 3M reflective material on the heel flaps. ILLEGO topped them off with “Velma 91″ stitched along the heel (the grandmother’s name and age at death), and a Kanye West quote on the insoles, “I lost the only girl in the world that know me best”. Nike [Superstar] Dunk Hi Custom Light Up (Lupe Fiasco Inspired)

Evolved Footwear just finished their newest pair of custom sneakers that they’re calling, the Nike “Superstar” Dunk Hi. This sneaker features an overall concept inspired by the well known hip hop artist, Lupe Fiasco and his hit summer music video, Superstar. The sneaker embodies several key elements taken from the music video, including a clean blue colorway decked out with confetti designs and smoke patterns along the toe and lace holes, and a cool “red carpet” tongue.
